Kathy holds a Child Development Specialist Degree and an Early Childhood Degree with 42 years of experience in this field. She is married to Dave for 43 years and has 2 grown daughters who are married to two great fellows and three wonderful grandchildren. Her hobbies are spending time with family and cycling.
Brandi has an Associates Degree in Specialized Business – Medical option. She graduated from Williamsport School of Commerce. She enjoys baking and decorating cakes, spending time with her family and dog, Finnegan.
Teacher: Mrs. Long teaches our youngest learners. She is the Lead Teacher in our Two’s Classroom and works in Preschool and Pre-K.
Mrs. Artz is the teacher for the Tuesday/Thursday Preschool class. She is a graduate of Millersville University where she double majored in Elementary and Special Education. She also received her Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Wilkes University. She spent 6 years teaching Elementary School at Londonderry Elementary in the Lower Dauphin School District. In addition to teaching at Jack & Jill, she has been married to her husband, Nate, for 14 years. She is a mom to 5 beautiful children; Chloe and Gabe, her 9 year old twins, Janie who is 7, Lincoln who is 4 and Meily who is 2.
Tammy Sema teaches the MWF Pre-K class, the Tuesday/Thursday Pre-K class and the Extended Day class. Her teaching degree is in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Millersville University. She has three grown children and one granddaughter. She lives in Annville with her husband, dog and cat. She enjoys walking, swimming, gardening and teaching young children.
Suzanne is the Lead Teacher in the 3-Day Pre-K AM and PM classes. She has loved each of her 10 years at Jack & Jill. It is so rewarding for her to help children develop a love of learning! Her Bachelor’s Degree is in Early Childhood and Elementary education and her Master’s degree is in Elementary education. Both degrees are from Millersville University. She lives in Palmyra with her husband and three teenage children (and their golden retriever). She enjoys going for nature walks, reading and swimming. Her favorite place to be is at the beach!
Mrs. Tamar Sullivan is a Pre-K teacher and has been in Education for close to 35 years. Jack and Jill is very close to her heart as her children, Brent and Paige, were students. Her teaching degree is in Elementary Education and Art. She has previously taught Kindergarten and Pre-First in the public school systems. She loves shell collecting with her husband on the Florida beaches, tutoring, having tea parties in her garden with children and cooking family dinners.
Tracy teaches the M/W Preschool class. She has her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Penn State University. She has taught in York City and Lower Dauphin School Districts. She also has substituted for the past 10 years in the Cornwall-Lebanon School District. She has two grown daughters that live in Philadelphia. She and her husband now keep busy with their Mini Goldendoodle, Della. She is a KPETS therapy dog, and they love visiting people! She also loves the beach!
Jamie works in the 3 year old preschool room alongside Emily Artz. She has 2 boys of her own; the youngest one currently attends Jack & Jill. She loves all the children they have connected with and cannot wait to meet more. She loves to read on cold days and to be outside soaking up the sun on warmer days.
Carrie Murphy is a graduate of Slippery Rock University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education. She has been married to her husband, Michael, for 21 years and has 3 children. Carrie has been working in early childhood education for 11 years. She currently teaches in the T/Th preschool program and works alongside Mrs. Sema in the M/W/F Pre-K program. Carrie enjoys spending time with her family camping, skiing and attending her kids activities.
