Terrific Twos

Beginning in 2008, Jack and Jill established the Terrific Twos program. Terrific Twos is geared towards children 30-36 months old and lays the foundation for young minds to begin the wonderful road to learning.  Your child will participate in circle time and learn to recognize her name.

Maximum child to teacher ratio is  6:1.

Child should ideally be 30-36 months of age prior to September 1 of the given school year.

Preschool

Mother Goose spreads her wings and flies right into the classroom for Jack and Jill three year olds as they experience this creative program through nursery rhymes and story time.  Throughout the year the children develop important language skills and social skills such as taking turns, sharing, sitting together for group activities and practicing good manners.  The children are also given wonderful opportunities to explore, create, and express themselves through music and art projects.

Monday/Wednesday OR Tuesday/Thursday

Maximum child to teacher ratio is 8:1.

Child must turn 3 and be fully potty-trained prior to September 1 of the given school year.

Pre-K ~ 3-Day

This program is perfect for your four or five-year-old to prepare for the fun and learning of kindergarten.  The emphasis of this program is on pre-reading, pre-writing, fine and gross motor skills, rhyming, opposites, colors, shapes and much more.  Music, science, literature, art and field trips  are all incorporated to round out the experience for your child.

Monday/Wednesday/Friday

Child must turn 4 and must be fully potty-trained prior to September 1 of the given school year.

KEA

Kindergarten Enrichment Activities

Jack & Jill’s KEA Program is an enrichment program designed to broaden your child’s appreciation of the world by giving them an outlet for creative expression. KEA surrounds children with a learning environment to excite, stimulate, inspire, and support them as they learn to create – with words, thoughts, pictures, music, drama, and other imaginative activities.

KEA runs October – May and meets for 2 hours, twice a week, highlighting Science, Social Studies/Geography, Music and Creative Arts! KEA children must be 5 prior to the given school year and enrolled in a local kindergarten class or homeschool program.

Registration typically begins in late February and is on-going until classes fill.

Our school year typically runs the Wednesday before Labor Day and ends the Wednesday before Memorial Day.
