Educational Director

I attended Millersville University for Elementary Education with a emphasis on Early Childhood.  Upon graduating I substituted around the county before teaching at Lebanon Catholic School for 3 years.  I taught 5th, 3rd, and 1st grades. I married my husband Chris and we started a family.  We have 3 beautiful children Mia 9, Talia 6, and Dominic 4.  My girls currently attend New Covenant Christian School in 3rd and 1st grade.  Dominic is attending Jack and Jill Preschool in the 3’s classroom.  I was so impressed with Jack and Jill Preschool I decided to join the staff last year. When I’m not busy running around my kids to their activities and all the cooking, cleaning, and picking up is done, I love to sit down, relax and watch a good show or movie on TV.  We have 1 dog Jagger, 3 rabbits, a few chickens, and some fish.  We attend St. Benedict the Abbot Catholic Church in Lebanon and I teach the 2nd grade in the religious education program. 

Hello!  My name is Suzanne Boyer. My husband, Allen, and I live in Palmyra with our three teenagers, Molly, Luke, and Adam, and our dog, Luna. I love to read, go for walks, and swim. My happy place is the beach!

I have my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Education from Millersville University. I taught in parochial and public schools before coming to Jack & Jill. I've been at J & J for 12 years. I love teaching the Preschool and Pre-K classes!

 Hello, my name is Diana Deck. I am the co-teacher in the preschool classroom on Tuesday/Thursdays and the assistant teacher in the pre-k classroom on Monday/Wednesday/Fridays. I was both born and raised in Lebanon and attended the Cornwall-Lebanon School District. I have been married to my husband, Matt, for 18 years and we have 2 children and a golden retriever named Chase. My daughter Kaylah is in 9th grade, and my son Landon is in 5th grade. Both of my kids attended Jack and Jill, and it was a great experience and they learned so much! Outside of work you will find me spending time with my family! We spend a lot of time at sports and love spending time outdoors.  

Hello! My name is Kelly Nelson and I am a Preschool and Early Learners teacher at Jack and Jill. I hold both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education. Before joining Jack and Jill, I spent nine wonderful years teaching 2nd grade in public school and then five years at home with my children during their early years. I live in Lebanon with my husband, our two boys, and our golden retriever.  Both of my boys went to Jack and Jill and had such a great experience. Now, I feel so fortunate to be part of the Jack and Jill community as a teacher, where I can help create the same kind of joyful and meaningful experiences for other children and families. I love watching young children learn, grow, become more independent, and discover the world around them through play and exploration. I look forward to getting to know each child and helping make their early school experiences happy, positive, and full of wonderful memories.

 Hello! My name is Danielle Truax and I am a Pre-K teacher at Jack and Jill. This is my fourth year teaching here. I have my BS in Early Childhood Education through LVC and recently completed my Master's in Applied Behavior Analysis through Penn State. I have been married for 5 years and we have two children: Koen and Amelia. We have a black Lab/ Great Dane mix named Ruger. I enjoy hiking, running, spending time with friends and family, and watching football.
